Nicole Fisher, PsyD, is a psychologist licensed in Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She continued to pursue her graduate studies at Argosy University in Orange, California. She received her Master’s degree and later her Doctorate degree at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Irvine. During her graduate education, Dr. Fisher obtained experience working with college age students for the assessment of ADHD, learning disabilities, and personality. She continued her initial training in community mental health, working with children from ages 3 and up. Here she obtained official certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy, an evidenced based approach facilitating relationship development between caregivers and their children. Dr. Fisher completed her formal APA internship at Wasatch Mental Health in Provo, Utah, where she treated a wide range of mental health conditions within the full age range.

Dr. Fisher values diversity and multicultural approaches and is a large supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community. Dr. Fisher is also the proud owner of a rescue, tortoise-colored cat and holds a strong passion for animals.

In her clinical practice, Amy Kreins, PhD, delivers Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adults and teens with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, depression, aging, and relationship problems. She builds on an individual’s strengths and individualizes therapy to each person’s needs. She believes that psychotherapy can help individuals most effectively use their resources to increase self-understanding, to improve decision-making, to solve problems, and to create paths to the lives they want. Her approach is compassionate and nonjudgmental. Dr. Kreins owns and runs a group practice located in the Craig Ranch neighborhood in southwest McKinney, Texas. Dr. Kreins completed her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, CA. She completed her predoctoral internship at Virginia Tech’s Cook Counseling Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at UC-Santa Cruz’s Student Counseling Center. She grew up in northwest New Jersey and graduated Cum Laude, In Honors from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA in 1993 with a B.S. in Psychology. Dr. Kreins has over 23 years of experience in the field and has been in private practice for over 10 years. She has taught workshops on eating disorders, body image, stress management, dementia, and depression. Her passions include traveling, movies, and spending time with her two sons.

Dayna Nelson, PsyD, LP, is a licensed psychologist with expertise in pediatric psychology, psychological assessment, and the treatment of trauma. She has over 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, families, and adults of all ages. Dr. Nelson uses a holistic approach considering the whole person’s mind, body, and spirit. She incorporates evidenced based treatments, faith-based counseling, and trauma informed interventions, including EMDR.

Dr. Nelson received her Psy.D. with an emphasis in Family Psychology, from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California in 2001. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1992.

Dr. Nelson has worked and trained in many different settings with culturally diverse populations including a psychiatric hospital, the Violence Intervention Program at Los Angeles County, USC Medical Center, St. Johns Child and Family Development Center in Santa Monica, Santa Ana College, and she worked with foster youth in Los Angeles County. She became a licensed psychologist in California in 2002 and began her private practice. She received specialized training and experience in forensic psychology, and was a contract psychologist at a California Men’s Colony. Her family relocated to Shreveport, LA in 2009, where she worked in a group practice in the community. Dr. Nelson conducted child custody evaluations and was an expert witness in Caddo Parrish, LA until she and her family finally settled in Texas in 2014. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Nelson also enjoys spending time with her family, serving in the community, and she is currently a Member-at-Large on the Collin County Psychological Association (CCPA) Board.

Gayla Sahl, Ph.D. is the founder of Sunrise Counseling, an outpatient mental health group practice located in North Dallas. Dr. Sahl completed her undergraduate education at Hardin-Simmons University and her doctoral training at Texas Woman’s University. Dr. Sahl has experience working at a college counseling center, an obstetrics/gynecology office (as an in-house therapist), as well as a residential facility for children and adolescents. Dr. Sahl enjoys working with a variety of people including those who are struggling with depression, anxiety and life transitions. Dr. Sahl also has an emphasis in working with women and their partners who are struggling with infertility, repeat miscarriages, and postpartum depression/postpartum anxiety. Dr. Collins-Jones is the Associate Dean of the College of Professional Psychology at The Chicago School. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Guidance, with a concentration in Marital and Family Therapy, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She then completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Oklahoma (APA Accredited), with an emphasis in Pediatric Psychology and Clinical Child Psychology. She also participated in an advanced academic training program in child abuse and neglect (Interdisciplinary Training Program in Child Abuse and Neglect (ITP) in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In addition, Dr. Collins-Jones completed her Predoctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Division of Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics (APA Accredited). After completing her post-doctoral fellowship, she served as a National Health Service Corps (loan repayment program) member in frontier Wyoming.

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Collins-Jones has worked extensively with children and families diagnosed with complex medical conditions and developmental disabilities. She has also served in a diverse array of professional roles, both academic and clinical, including working as a psychologist in a frontier area, as a school psychologist in Utah and Texas, as a clinical supervisor in APA-accredited predoctoral internship sites, and as a faculty member, Department Chair, and Associate Dean for a university. Before joining The Chicago School, Dr. Collins-Jones worked at a local children's hospital in their Department of Psychology as a pediatric psychologist and Director of Training, where she provided consultation and liaison services through the outpatient clinics and inpatient unit on cases with a wide range of behavioral, medical, and psychological problems. She conducted psychological assessments with children and young adults, provided individual and family outpatient psychotherapy, and offered pain management services to patients who reported significant changes to their level of functioning and quality of life. Dr. Collins-Jones also collaborated with several orthopedic surgeons on research projects that addressed the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional issues of patients with spinal deformities and back pain. She has a strong track record of scholarly activity, having presented at numerous state, national, and international conferences and having her work published in peer-reviewed journals.

Before becoming the Associate Dean of the College of Professional Psychology at The Chicago School, Dr. Collins-Jones was the inaugural Department Chair in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at The Chicago School-Dallas Campus. 

In addition to developing and managing the program, she taught courses in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, Assessment, Supervision and Consultation, Advanced Behavioral Therapy, Health Psychology, and Pediatric Psychology. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Collins-Jones is active in several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the Texas Psychological Association, and the Collin County Psychological Association. She recently graduated from the American Psychological Association's Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology (LIWP) program, where she developed a Task Force to improve access to mental health services in North Texas. Dr. Collins-Jones is currently the Past-President of the Collin County Psychological Association (CCPA) and is the Co-Chair of the Texas Psychological Association's Academic and Higher Education Committee (AHEC). 

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Collins-Jones has a private practice specializing in the psychological treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring medical diagnoses. She enjoys traveling, yoga, Pilates, and reading in her free time.

Paloma Ocampo earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in an integrated behavioral health setting in Springfield, Missouri, working with rural and underserved patients. Her postdoctoral training focused on conducting psychological evaluations at a community mental health agency serving southwest Missouri.

She has a particular interest in working with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Together, she'll help you uncover and address unproductive behaviors and thought patterns, and teach you different coping strategies so you can effectively handle life's challenges.

I graduated from a PhD program in Counseling Psychology at Washington State University, an academic program accredited by the American Psychological Association, in 2006. Since then, I have worked as a psychologist in settings such as university counseling centers, VA medical center, and group private practice providing psychological counseling and assessment, supervising psychologists-in-training, providing consultations to individuals and organizations, teaching psychology courses, and giving presentations on various mental health topics. After practicing psychology in Washington and Iowa for a total of four years, I came to Texas and have been licensed as a psychologist in Texas since September 2011. 

I have been practicing psychology at the current location since January 2012. I also hold a full-time position as a senior counseling psychologist at the Counseling Services at Southern Methodist University, as well as serving as a Volunteer Faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center. I have also taught the Counseling Diverse Communities course for graduate students in counseling at Southern Methodist University as an adjunct instructor. I have an active membership at the Collin County Psychological Association and the Dallas Psychological Association.

Susan D. Randoing, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 25-years of experience. A graduate of Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Florida Tech, Dr. Randoing was Clinical Student of the Year in her doctoral program and is trained to work with individuals of all ages, families and couples.  

Dr. Randoing uses a client-centered approach to therapy as well techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Imago Therapy. She is also trained in psychological assessment. Dr. Randoing has extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, behavioral disorders, family dynamics and stress. She creates a warm, collaborative therapeutic environment. Dr. Randoing sees clients via Telehealth.

Dr. Tara Thompson is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping people create positive change in their lives. Her goal is to help you identify and resolve issues that may be preventing you from getting more of what you want in life. Her style is warm and empathic, yet she can be challenging when it is needed in order to achieve growth. Having an eclectic approach to treatment, Dr. Thompson tends to draw from relational and cognitive behavioral approaches. 

 Dr. Thompson’s expertise includes mood disorders, addictions, relationships issues, anxiety and panic symptoms. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the states of Texas, Florida and Illinois. Dr. Thompson has completed Level 1 Gottman Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and hold specialized certifications in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and also as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
