The Collin-Fannin County Medical Society (CFCMS) held its annual Legislative CME dinner meeting at the Sheraton-McKinney in McKinney, TX on October 27, 2022.
TMA President Gary Floyd, MD, Pediatrician, Corpus Christi, addressed the attending physicians about TMA’s legislative efforts in 2020, its off-session work in 2021 and what to look forward to in 2023.
Additionally, the society’s North Texas Physicians’ Political Action Committee (NTPPAC) held a private cocktail reception just before the legislative CME dinner and invited Collin County’s local House of Representatives and State Senate members representing its constituency in Austin. Senator Angela Paxton-R, McKinney, spoke to the group and thanked everyone for her support.
