September is Women in Medicine month, and the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society’s (CFCMS) Women Physician Section held its annual social at the NYLO Hotel on Friday evening, September 24. The weather was perfect for the patio cocktail hour and the food was fantastic. CFCMS leadership, in attendance, were: Sejal Mehta, MD, President; Neha Dhudshia, MD, Secretary; and, Aimee Garza, Treasurer. The evening concluded with Nicole Detling, PhD, Salt Lake City, UT, entertaining the all-female physician affair with her presentation on “Mental Toughness”. The pandemic has taken, and continues to take a toll on the sick, as well as those it leaves, and is leaving, in its wake.
